Rocky Top Organic Vineyard & Winery is the creation of a sustainable organic vineyard by the duo of Roger Hooban (a sometimes smooth talking Southern lawyer) and Kathy Butcher (a Southern belle and retired V.R. Counselor).
Our location has led us to be the very first certified organic vineyard and winery in Tennessee and possibly, in the entire South. Many good people have helped us along the way, including the Tennessee State Department of Agriculture, University of Tennessee, and our certifying agency: I.C.S. International.
